Mr. Johnson received his B.A. degree, summa cum laude, from Indiana University and his J.D., cum laude, from Indiana University. Mr. Johnson is a partner with Mallor Clendening Grodner & Bohrer LLP in Bloomington, Indiana and practices predominantly in the areas of construction law, insurance defense and toxic torts. He is admitted to practice in Indiana, the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. Mr. Johnson is a member of the Indiana State and American Bar Associations, the Association of Defense Trial Lawyers and the Defense Research Institute.

Jerry Huelat, partner in the Michigan City firm of Huelat & Gardner and a Chicago native, received his undergraduate degree from Penn State and his J.D. from Northern Illinois and was admitted to the bar in 1981. Jeff McKean is a sole practitioner in the McKean Law Firm. He graduated from Purdue University in 1986 and Indiana University School of Law, cum laude, in 1989. Jeff concentrates his practice in alcoholic beverage matters. As a member of DTCI, Jeff has served as chair of the 2000 Annual Conference, chair of the CLE Committee, and chair of the Products Liability Section. Jeff is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Indianapolis Bar Association. Jeff is extensively involved in community activities. He serves on the boards for the Purdue Sigma Chi Alumni House Corporation and Fall Creek Little League and is a member of the Holy Spirit at Geist Catholic Church Finance Committee. Jeff enjoys working with children as a youth coach for baseball, basketball, football, and soccer.

Thomas R. Schultz, a principal in Schultz & Pogue, L.L.P., in Carmel, graduated from Indiana University in 1984 and received his law degree in 1987 from the Indiana University School of Law. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute (Trial Tactics and Governmental Liability sections), the International Association of Defense LAwyers, and the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, where he served as legislative chair from 1999-2004. He serves as membership chair for the American Board of Trial Advocates and is an active member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. Tom focuses his practice on litigation and defense in numerous areas, including products liability, medical malpractice, employment, nursing home malpractice, defamation, and governmental liability in addition to traditional auto and premises liability.
